Spectrum Advantage facilitates 3 cohorts per year. That means when you partner with us, your business has the opportunity year round to tap into an undiscovered talent pool of skilled candidates. In our classes we teach our participants the skills that they need to be successful employees. 

We offer ongoing employment coaching to the candidate and their employer. As well as, diversity workshops for businesses regardless of their partnership with us. Through our funding with the Canadian Government, we also offer a financial stipend to businesses that hire our candidates.

Questions

We stay involved once a student is hired by providing employment coaching. We bridge any communication gaps and ensure a successful experience. We also offer diversity training, free of cost. 

Not  usually, our participants are screened before entering the program for their employment readiness.

Although a person with autism may require more detailed instructions when learning a task, the employer can expect a comparable or exceeded rate of production to that of neurotypical employees.

Candidates on this page are recent graduates and are available to start right away. Each new cohort of students attends 4 weeks of in-class training before they are ready for work.

In the first 12 weeks of an internship employers are offered a financial stipend to  offset any training costs.
